VOLUNTEER 4 LONG ISLAND
Volunteer 4 Long Island (V4LI) is a ministry to the homeless and those living in emergency housing on Long Island. V4LI is run by Justin Cozzetti and his wife Jeanine. They take a small team out with lunches and Bibles to feed the homeless, physically and spiritually, within the Longwood community.
Our biggest event happens on Thanksgiving Day. We have over 100 volunteers from across Long Island assemble over 200 hot Thanksgiving meals to deliver to the homeless and those in emergency living. We also give out blankets, clothing, hats, gloves, shoes and personal care items. Our event has been met with great success and touches the hearts and lives of not only those we minister to, but to those that come out and volunteer.
